It's 2026.

I'm still here and I'm still making, albeit more slowly. If you read the last post (you didn't, no one did lol), I DID have a baby at Christmastime 2023.

IVF was not my favorite thing, but I got my babies and feel very lucky to have had the opportunity (AND the insurance coverage) to do it. BABIES, plural, yes. Second babe came along in 2025. There will not be pictures of the bebes here, or anywhere on social media.

I started spinning wool because who doesn't need new hobies when you're pregnant??

I've done a little bit of sewing. Despite my protestations that I would absolutely NOT sew for babies, I totally did. I have tried to mostly sew things that are size 3T/4T, so... room to grow. And sewing things I couldn't find in a shop if I tried. I think my sewing makes have gotten simpler, repelenishing basics, making special items for my babes and keeping my husband in pants.
