In Portland the past few days, I found the knitting store: Twisted. It was glorious and scrumptious and well stocked in merino. Despite having a sort of large stash right now and a number of projects on needles and even more queued, I couldn't help but spring for this gorgeous blue and green merino variegated dk weight Malabrigo. I'm thinking it would make a gorgeous cowl.
If you get the chance to visit Twisted, there's also a fantastic lunch spot a few doors down at Costello International Cafe.
I've also been loving this lace and beaded shawl.
